Sharing with Organization Users

Inside a Cluvio organization, dashboards can be shared with other users in the same organization. This is the simplest way to make a dashboard available to teammates — they sign in to their own Cluvio account and see it on their dashboards overview page.

Sharing with organization users is managed from the dashboard's Share with Users dialog. Open it from the dashboard actions menu in the single-dashboard view, or from the actions menu on the dashboards overview list.

Sharing options​

The dialog's Share with selector controls who can see the dashboard:

  • Not Shared — the dashboard stays a draft, visible only to you.
  • All Users — the dashboard is shared with every user in your organization.
  • Selected Groups — share with specific user groups. (Business plan)

Click Save Changes to apply, or Cancel to discard.

Selected Groups (Business plan)​

Selected Groups shows a checklist of every user group in your organization, each with its member count and a short description. Tick the groups you want to share the dashboard with, then click Save Changes — everyone in those groups will see the dashboard on their dashboards overview page.

To stop sharing with a group, untick it and save again.

All Users​

All Users shares the dashboard with everyone in the organization in a single step — useful for company-wide dashboards. On plans without custom user groups, this is the primary way to share: switch between Not Shared and All Users to control whether the dashboard is visible to the whole organization.

Notifying people​

Whenever you grant access — through All Users or by adding a user group — two options control whether the people who gain access are told about it:

  • Notify users — send an e-mail to the users who gain access.
  • Include thumbnail — add a thumbnail image of the dashboard to that e-mail.

The notification e-mail is only sent once per user per dashboard.

Drafts

Dashboards that aren't shared with any user or user group are marked as DRAFT on the dashboards overview page (only when the organization has more than one user — single-user organizations don't show the draft badge).
